The properties of our bone grafts

By use of Ceraball® MCB® (Micro-Chambered-Beads®) excellent bone formation is achieved due to its surface texture, capillary forces and synthetic bone graft substitute. In a few weeks, you will have an impressive, volume stable structure.


Bone augmentation in weeks

Ceraball® MCBs® are able to form stable, load-bearing bone. This is achieved by the unique spherical shape of the ceramics. This guides the bone and prevents the "ceramic disease" caused by sharp edges of granules.

Speed

Primary bone formation occurs after only four weeks due to the interconnectivity, a porosity of (60-80% and the large specific surface area (OS/OV). Bone formation and augmentation take place in 8-10 weeks. A stable cancellous bone rich in bone marrow is built up.

Capillary Forces

Ceraball® MCB® absorb blood and bone marrow and keep growth factors at the site of action. The interconnectivity accelerates bone growth and bone augmentation.

Easy to use. No additional material necessary.

In the future, only one bone graft substitute will be necessary for bone reconstruction. Thanks to Ceraball® MCB®, bovine, allogenic or autologous implants are no longer necessary.
